Insulation (coordinated)
Insulation crews from Riley's network, sequenced between rough-ins and drywall.
Coordinated through Riley's trusted tradesPerformed by the insulation crew from Riley's network under his schedule.
Insulation is the step between inspected rough-ins and drywall, and it decides how a Minnesota basement, addition or new build feels in January. Riley brings the insulation crew he uses, chooses the assembly with you, and schedules it so drywall follows without a gap.
What the work involves
- Batt, blown-in or spray-foam assemblies chosen for the wall, rim joist or attic in question
- Rim joists and basement walls addressed before finishing
- Vapor control and air sealing handled with the assembly, not after it
- Scheduled after rough-in inspections and before drywall
- Attic top-ups coordinated when a ceiling is opened anyway
Questions
- Does Riley install insulation himself?
- No. Insulation is done by the crew he uses, on his schedule, between the rough-in inspections and drywall.
- Does a finished basement need new insulation?
- Usually the rim joist and any exposed foundation wall do. Riley reviews what is there before the basement plan is priced.
